"Who needs the Phoenix Force?"

Films: Firestarter (1984), Firestarter: Rekindled (2002)

Alias: None

Type: Man-Made

Location: Civilized area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Good

Summary: It's never fair to bestow unprecedented power unto a child, especially if that power is very destructive. Poor Charlie here was in for a roller coaster ride of loss and heartbreak as the government swooped in to collect alleged property.

History: Long ago, Charlene "Charlie" McGee's parents were subject to an unethical experiment by the Shop, a government subdivision seeking the truth on superhuman possibility. Both got psychic powers, and their daughter Charlie developed the ability to create fire with her mind. Unfortunately, the Shop was still hot on the family's trail, and would collect their experiment even if it meant killing a few folks. That's what hired gun John Rainbird was for.

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: After her whole family is killed, Charlie lays waste to the Shop with her powers, and as an adult, leads a new group of superpowered humans to freedom after killing Rainbird with a fiery hug.

Powers/Abilities: Can summon fire, as well as meteors, with her mind. Anything around her has the potential to combust, especially when she's mad.

Weakness: Anything conventional (if you can reach her).

Scariness Factor: 3.5-Out of all the human flamethrowers in media, none is more potent or destructive than Charlie here. We outta be grateful that she's on our side, because the pinheads who tampered with her are nothing but ashes now.

Trivia: -John Carpenter was offered to direct the first film, but Stephen King liked Bill Lancaster's script better.

-Charlie's character and appearance was actually modeled after Stephen King's daughter, Naomi King.

Life is just so unfair sometimes.

Erm, I don't know how to feel about how good she looks now. Someone help.
Stub her toe and your house/tree goes up in smoke.

She's not about to sneeze. It's a sign that you need to duck.

Huggies gone horribly wrong.
